Exquisite. The wines here are beautiful, the farm intsself stunning, we had the most amazing wine tasting, pairings with cheese, biltong etc. ~ sat by the fireplace at the huge table and tasted these amazing wines…wow, the Chenin and Shiraz and even the Blanc de Noir blew me away! Will definitely recommend it and go back there again! Had lunch outside…awesome menu! Thank you Maison, for the exquisite experience :)

The new tasting room and kitchen is awesome well laid out and put together. The wines however where on a level of their own the chenin and Shiraz being stand outs particularly the chenin fantastic

The new tasting room is stunning; each piece in it a work of art. It’s so new the scent of recently cured leather is still rife in the air. I could however still get the fruit and subtle minerality in the Chenin and fragrance of their Viognier. The Shiraz was very elegant. The Kitchen looked just as stunning, however we didn’t manage to have a meal there. Maybe next time.

Looking for a trendy, modern style with the comfort of a farm experience then Maison is your place!

The white interior from floor to ceiling creates a spacious, welcoming space for all to enjoy. The tasting experience is one to remember, especially the Shiraz paired with biltong & blue cheese…… Outstanding! All there wines are grown from the vines on the Estate, nothing is sourced from other vineyards.

The Stylish restaurant, The Kitchen, boasts a mouth watering menu as well as a Tapas menu to accompany your tasting. The décor is modern, simple and makes you feel like you never want to leave!

Be sure to make a reservation with Julian or Alice, as it is a comfortable 70 seater, for an experience that will have coming back for more!!!….. ;p

Pleasantly surprised, both the Chenin and Shiraz will make it into my cellar. The host is knowledgeable and gave a couple of good tips plus some bold statements like Rickety Bridge Cab Sauv the best red wine produced im Franschoek during the last 300 years.. Ee are off to try it :-)

We loved Maison! We found it on spit or swallow a few weeks before our trip, and we are so glad we did. Both the shiraz and chenin were fantastic- I wish I had been able to squeeze more than a few bottles into my suitcase. The pours were quite generous and Guy was a wonderful and knowledgable host. We ended up meeting up with him and some others we met in the Maison tasting room at another winery later in the day and had a great time. This was the most relaxed, unpretentious, and enjoyable winery we visited and we cannot wait to go back.

Took a couple of guests to this delightful hidden gem in Franschhoek. To be honest, i would have missed it if I hadn’t seen the great ratings on the Spit or Swallow site. Wow, what a find. What cracked it for me was the decent amount of wine in the tasting glasses that really allowed you to taste, wait for the palate to adjust, taste again and then pair the wines with the biltong and cheese that was supplied. Now that’s a real tasting. And no charge! Unbelievable and Guy’s up front view of wine, the world and the human race was refreshing to say the least. Will be back and even if you don’t drink wine the lemonade was divine.

The most epically awesome wine farm in the history of wine farms! It’s not pretentious, not over priced, not over commercialised and not impersonal!

All the nice things said about Guy are true (even though he was nursing a major from the night before)- we ended up going for dinner after what was for me, undoubtedly the best wine farm experience I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying!

What a cool place! Also wine farm number 300 for me! The host, Guy, was very friendly and gave us an informative tasting. They only have 2 wines at the moment – Chenin and Shiraz. Both wines are delicious, especially the Shiraz which is priced at R120 and worth every cent. The Chenin is R65 a bottle and also great value for money. We bought 2 bottles of each and I can’t wait to open them. I will definitely go back for more!

I was so happy that I turned back when I saw the “Shiraz Lovers” sign whilst driving into Franschhoek last week. We were treated to a fine tasting experience. Guy Kedian invited us in and took us through the tasting. Not only is the wine stunning, but they also sell a stunning lemon cordial. I would recommend this little wine farm to anyone going near Franschhoek. Thanks Guy.

Fantastic little place on the way into Franschoek. Almost missed it, but the “Shiraz Lovers, stop here” sign helped. Enjoyed all the wine and the personal attention given makes you feel welcome. Look out for the pig – must be the only tasting room in the world where a big black pig greets you as you get our of the car.

Lovely boutique farm with elegant and friendly tasting room. Our host was friendly & knowledgeable, while farm dog & farm pig provided ambience. The wines are very good at very very reasonable prices. Don’t miss this farm!

It’s a great boutique wine farm. I’ve tasted the wines when I went to the Franschhoek Uncorked Festival in September. Even though it was buzzing with people sitting on the hay bales, tasting wine and listening to the live Jazz, Guy Kedian made me feel right at home with a personal tasting. They produce a super Chenin Blanc and a fantastic Shiraz. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Viognier though, only 1 barrel was made and there are only a couple of bottles left! I will definitely visit the farm again next time I am in Franshhoek.
